Riyadh: Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov visited the Riyadh International Book Fair 2025 at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. The visit underscored Uzbekistan's role as the guest of honor at the event, organized by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission under the theme 'Riyadh Reads.'
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, the minister toured Uzbekistan's cultural pavilion, which showcases literary, artistic, and heritage works, and viewed Saudi sections highlighting the Kingdom's achievements in publishing, translation, and book production.
Nazarbekov noted that "The Riyadh International Book Fair embodies openness and cultural exchange, reaffirming Saudi Arabia's growing role in supporting literary and intellectual movements across the region and globally." He commended the fair's organization and diversity, thanked the commission for fostering cultural exchange, and expressed Uzbekistan's interest in future initiatives that bring together creative communities from both nations.
