Thunderstorms and Dusty Winds Expected in Several Saudi Regions

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted thunderstorms accompanied by dusty winds affecting several regions in Saudi Arabia, including Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Qassim, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region. Additionally, there is a possibility of fog formation in the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the weather over the Red Sea will experience northwesterly to northerly winds in the northern and central parts, ranging between 20-50 km/h. In the southern part, the winds will shift to southeasterly at speeds of 15-50 km/h. The wave heights are expected to vary from half a meter to more than two meters, with the sea conditions anticipated to be relatively calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will be northerly to northeasterly, blowing at speeds of 18-50 km/h. The wave heights are projected to range from one to over two meters, with the sea conditions expected to vary from calm to choppy.
