Riyadh: Ten winners were named in the gyr shaheen heat of the Melwah race, held yesterday as part of the Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2025 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the six-day race runs from October 5 to 10 with total prizes of SAR600,000. Payouts are SAR25,000 for first place, SAR20,000 for second, SAR15,000 for third, SAR10,000 for fourth, SAR7,000 for fifth and SAR5,000 for sixth. Winners placing seventh through tenth receive SAR4,500 each.
The Melwah competition continues tomorrow with the fourth race dedicated to the gyr tabaa category.
