Riyadh: Minister of Culture of the Syrian Arab Republic Dr. Mohammad Yassin Saleh visited the Riyadh International Book Fair 2025, organized by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission under the theme 'Riyadh Reads,' at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, the minister toured various sections of the fair, including several publishing houses, cultural pavilions of participating countries, the pavilion of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, and the pavilion of the Republic of Uzbekistan - this year's guest of honor - along with a number of areas representing diverse Saudi cultural initiatives.
Dr. Saleh was briefed on the fair's accompanying programs and activities, which provide interactive spaces connecting readers, creators, and publishers within a unified cultural environment. He praised the exceptional organization and strong visitor turnout, commending the Kingdom's pioneering role in supporting culture and the publishing industry across the Arab world.
