Madinah: The Ministry of Sport's branch in the Madinah region is set to host the Ma'alem Marathon this Saturday, under the theme "We Protect Our Heritage with Confident Steps." The initiative aims to raise awareness about the Arabian leopard's conservation and support efforts to prevent its extinction.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event will feature three race categories: 5 kilometers, 10 kilometers, and 21 kilometers. Participants will run through several historical sites in Madinah, starting from Qaba'. The marathon is open to community members of all ages and fitness levels, who can register for the event via the website https://maalemm.com.
