Shura Council Speaker Engages in Talks with Kazakh Senate Chairman

Riyadh: Shura Council Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh held official talks today at the Shura Council headquarters in Riyadh with Kazakhstan Senate Chairman Maulen Ashimbayev. Dr. Al Al-Sheikh welcomed Ashimbayev and his accompanying delegation, offering an overview of the Shura Council's legislative and oversight roles, as well as its internal working mechanisms.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Al Al-Sheikh highlighted the strong and growing relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Kazakhstan, expressing his hope for further cooperation, particularly in strengthening parliamentary ties and expanding bilateral engagement.

Ashimbayev expressed his pleasure at visiting the Kingdom and extended his gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality. He affirmed that Saudi Arabia is a key and reliable partner for Kazakhstan, both within the Islamic world and in international affairs.

Ashimbayev praised the remarkable transformations the Kingdom is undergoing under Vision 2030, wishing continued progress and prosperity for Saudi Arabia and its people. He expressed optimism that the visit would further enhance bilateral relations.
