Riyadh: The Shalayel Digital Museum is among the main attractions at the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2025, offering educational and interactive content that introduces visitors to the world of falcons, their history, and falconry tools, while showcasing their cultural and aesthetic significance in the Kingdom and around the world.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the museum takes visitors on an interactive journey highlighting the distinctive features of falcons, including their striking speed, keen eyesight, balanced physique, and vivid colors, as well as their remarkable adaptability to training and care for their offspring. It also offers educational explanations of the falcon's main body parts, such as the neck, wings, talons, and tail.
Moreover, it documents the history of falcons around the world and their distribution across various continents, highlighting their breeding areas in the Kingdom and the spread of their nests along the western mountain range. It also presents, in an engaging educational format, the hunting techniques falcons use to pursue their prey.
Additionally, the museum features a dedicated section showcasing the most valuable falcons presented at the International Falcon Breeders Auction, offering visitors an opportunity to learn about the finest and rarest falcon breeds.
The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2025, organized by the Saudi Falcons Club, was launched with broad international participation, bringing together more than 1,300 exhibitors and brands from 45 countries. The exhibition features 28 specialized sectors and more than 23 accompanying activities, combining the preservation of the national heritage of falconry and hunting with the creation of new investment opportunities in the fields of culture, entertainment, and tourism.
