Paris: The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) participated in the MENA-OECD Working Group II on Open and Innovative Government meeting, where representatives from several countries attended to discuss international efforts, successful practices, and challenges related to the global development and adoption of artificial intelligence technologies.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during a panel discussion on building an enabling environment for trustworthy AI in public services, SDAIA showcased the Kingdom's efforts in AI governance and policy development. It outlined how governments can enhance AI's productivity and responsiveness in public services while mitigating risks through robust governance frameworks.
SDAIA also highlighted Saudi Arabia's pioneering role in the AI field, emphasizing its commitment to adopting cutting-edge technologies and building an integrated AI ecosystem that fosters innovation and supports sustainable development in alignment with Vision 2030. The presentation further reviewed the Kingdom's national strategy for artificial intelligence and its recent achievements in securing advanced global rankings in the field.
