Saudi National Team Secures Three Medals at Nordic-Baltic Physics Olympiad

Riyadh: The Saudi Physics Team won three international medals at the 22nd Nordic-Baltic Physics Olympiad (NBPhO), held in Estonia from April 26 to 28, with the participation of 105 students representing 10 countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, students Faris Al-Ghamdi and Hussein Al-Saleh, both from Riyadh Education, earned silver medals, while Mohammed Al-Arfaj from Eastern Education secured a bronze medal.

With these achievements, the Kingdom's total medal count at the Olympiad has reached 22 since its first participation in 2020, including two gold, 10 silver, and 10 bronze medals.

The Kingdom's participation in the Nordic-Baltic Physics Olympiad is part of the Mawhiba International Olympiad Program, a collaboration between the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) and the Ministry of Education.
