The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, met yesterday with Moroccan Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Ahmed Toufiq and his accompanying delegation at the venue of the 9th Conference of Ministers of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Makkah. During the meeting, they discussed shared topics between the two sides, various fields of work, and ways to support them. The Moroccan minister praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in serving Islam and Muslims, and promoting the values of moderation in the world. He stressed that the conference supports the Islamic efforts made by the ministries of Islamic affairs in the Islamic world in spreading and enhancing moderation, values of tolerance among religions, and combating extremism, radicalism, and terrorism g lobally. He expressed hope that the conference will result in recommendations that enhance fruitful cooperation among participants and achieve its noble message. Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh referred to the strong relations between the two countries, especially those pertaining to Islamic matters. Source: Saudi Press Agency
