Saudi, Mauritanian Permanent Representatives to OIC Discuss Cooperation

Jeddah: Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Saleh Al-Suhaibani met with Ambassador of Mauritania to Saudi Arabia Moktar Ould Dahi, who recently presented his credentials as permanent representative to the OIC. The meeting primarily focused on enhancing their collaborative efforts to bolster the organization, achieve its noble objectives, and advance joint Islamic action for the benefit of the peoples of OIC member states.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions emphasized avenues for joint Islamic work between the two missions to promote OIC objectives and contribute to prosperity, stability, and peace across the Islamic world. They also deliberated on strengthening Islamic solidarity and coordination to tackle shared challenges and issues of mutual interest, alongside recent developments within the OIC. The meeting addressed the organization's ongoing efforts in various fields, further underlining the importance of cooperation and unity among member states.
