Saudi Health Council to Showcase Innovations at Global Health Exhibition in Riyadh

Riyadh: The Saudi Health Council is set to participate in the 7th Global Health Exhibition, scheduled from October 21 to 23 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham. This year's theme, "Invest in Health," aims to highlight significant advancements and collaborations in the health sector. According to Saudi Press Agency, the council will feature its interactive Innovation Zone at the event, where it will display key health system indicators, public health achievements, and digital health initiatives. The exhibit will focus on national programs designed to enhance health service quality and efficiency, and promote easier access through digital means. The council's participation will include demonstrations of the National Digital Health Maturity Assessment for health facilities across Saudi Arabia and initiatives like medical coding and standards, which aim to standardize terminologies and procedures within the health sector. Additionally, the event will see the introduction of the Pharmaceutic al Dictionary System to streamline medication coding in the country, a national electronic tool for assessing cardiovascular disease risks, and the Sanadak statistical system for diabetes centers to improve data collection on health resources distribution. Prominent also will be the health policymakers' guide, which is intended to boost healthcare service quality and efficiency. Moreover, the council plans to showcase several health projects, including those focused on cancer combat efforts like the interactive Saudi Cancer Registry platform and the cloud-based SaudiCAN for recording nationwide cancer cases. Furthermore, during the exhibition, the Saudi Health Council will sign 17 memoranda of understanding with various entities to enhance healthcare development and support the goals of the Health Sector Transformation Program. The event promises to be a significant gathering in the global health calendar, featuring over 500 speakers, more than 1,200 exhibitors from 70 countries, and over 100 panel discuss ions. It will cover topics such as the future of healthcare, digital health technologies, and healthcare system improvements, attracting health experts, sector specialists, and a wide audience interested in health and investment opportunities.
