Riyadh: The Saudi Falcons Club signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Sunday with Red Sea Global (RSG) to strengthen cooperation in environmental sustainability and the protection of falcon habitats. The MoU also aims to support joint efforts in promoting environmental awareness and highlighting the cultural heritage associated with falconry.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the agreement includes coordination between both parties to implement environmental programs and initiatives that contribute to wildlife conservation and ecosystem sustainability. A key focus is the 'Hadad Program' of the Saudi Falcons Club, which is dedicated to returning falcons to their natural habitats.
Additionally, the MoU covers cooperation in tracking falcon migration routes and identifying release and nesting sites. This aspect of the agreement is intended to support protection and scientific monitoring efforts.
