Saudi-Egyptian Industrial Forum Explores Joint Investment Opportunities

Riyadh: The Saudi-Egyptian Industrial Forum concluded in Riyadh on Monday evening, under the patronage and attendance of Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef. The forum, jointly organized by the Federation of Saudi Chambers and the Federation of Egyptian Industries, aimed to enhance industrial integration between Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Several officials attended, and approximately 300 industry leaders and investors from Saudi Arabia and Egypt participated.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the forum, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources presented an overview of Saudi Arabia's industrial development, the goals of the National Strategy for Industry, and the promising investment opportunities in 12 industrial sectors. These sectors focus on localization and development, including machinery and equipment, food, aviation, chemicals, medical devices, renewable energy, maritime industries, mining, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and building materials.

The presentation highlighted the strengths of Saudi Arabia's industrial sector and its appeal to Egyptian investors, including its strategic location and proximity to Egypt, both by air and sea. It also emphasized the presence of over 40 industrial zones, five special economic zones, 10 ports, 29 airports, along with abundant oil, gas, natural resources, a favorable regulatory environment, and an integrated industrial infrastructure.
