Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Economy and Planning and the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Investment of the Union of the Comoros have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a framework aimed at enhancing and diversifying economic cooperation based on mutual interest. According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU was signed by Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Alibrahim and Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment of the Comoros Moustoifa H. Mohamed. The agreement outlines key objectives to strengthen economic ties between the two countries, emphasizing the exchange of knowledge to boost economic collaboration and fostering communication and cooperation between government entities and the private sector. The MoU also aims to facilitate visits, communications, and events that encourage interaction between individuals, officials, and economic institutions from both nations. Additionally, it underscores the importance of supporting the participation of small and medium-sized ente rprises (SMEs) in bilateral economic activities, further promoting economic engagement and partnership.
