Sharjah: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association is actively participating in the 10th International Scout Gathering, which is being hosted by the Sharjah Scout Mission in the United Arab Emirates. This event, which runs until February 17, brings together 80 scout associations from various parts of the world.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the gathering includes a wide array of events, workshops, and visits to notable natural and recreational landmarks, including the Hanging Gardens, Burj Khalifa, and the Global Village. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to tour the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences, and Technology.
Initiated in 2003, the gathering aims to foster cooperation, leadership, and social responsibility among youth. Through engaging activities, scouts are encouraged to develop teamwork and community service skills, enabling them to drive positive change, embrace volunteerism, and contribute to building strong, sustainable societies.
