Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh Sign Labor Agreement

Riyadh: Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi and Bangladesh's Minister of Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Dr. Asif Nazrul signed a general labor recruitment agreement in the presence of several officials and specialists from both sides. The agreement is aimed at establishing a regulatory framework for the recruitment procedures of Bangladeshi workers in Saudi Arabia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the agreement not only protects the rights of both workers and employers but also regulates the contractual relations between them. This initiative is part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to strengthen international partnerships and open new labor markets, thereby ensuring a balanced labor market.

During their meeting, Al-Rajhi and Nazrul also explored ways to enhance bilateral relations. The discussions were aligned with their shared goals of exploring areas of cooperation at all levels to achieve common interests between the two nations.
