Saudi Arabia and Uganda Collaborate on Labor Market Initiatives

RIYADH: Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi met with Ugandan Minister of State for Labour, Employment, and Industrial Relations Davinia Esther Anyakun today, emphasizing the importance of bilateral cooperation in labor market development. According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening the ties between Saudi Arabia and Uganda, particularly in the realm of employment and labor relations. During the discussions, Al-Rajhi extended an invitation to Minister Anyakun to participate in the upcoming second Global Labor Market Conference, scheduled to take place in Riyadh on January 29-30, 2025. This conference aims to address key issues and foster international collaboration in the labor sector. The engagement between the two ministers highlights a mutual commitment to enhancing the labor markets in both countries, and it underscores the strategic importance of international cooperation in addressing global employment challenges.
