RIYADH: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef and Lombardy Regional Government President Attilio Fontana recently held discussions in Riyadh to explore potential enhancements in industrial cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the Lombardy region of Italy. According to Saudi Press Agency, the talks focused on opportunities within the pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and electric vehicle industries. Both leaders emphasized the importance of strengthening industrial and mining sector ties, leveraging the robust relationship between Saudi Arabia and Italy, and the involvement of the private sector. Alkhorayef underscored the diversification aims of the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative, outlining the investment opportunities available in key sectors and the benefits for foreign investors, including advanced infrastructure and government support.
