Riyadh Hosts Region’s Largest Cultural Event with Over 2,000 Publishing Houses Participating in Riyadh International Book Fair 2025

Riyadh: The Riyadh International Book Fair 2025, now in its third day, continues to affirm its status as the largest cultural event in the Kingdom and the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event brings together more than 2,000 local and international publishing houses and agencies from over 25 countries under one roof. The fair also features the participation of Saudi, Arab, and international cultural institutions and organizations under the theme 'Riyadh Reads.'

Held at the campus of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, the fair welcomes the Republic of Uzbekistan as this year's guest of honor. It showcases Uzbekistan's cultural, artistic, and historical heritage through manuscripts, publications, and performances featuring prominent Uzbek cultural figures and creators.

The fair's cultural program offers a wide range of intellectual and dialogue-driven events, including more than 200 seminars, panel discussions, and workshops. It also features activities dedicated to children and book-signing platforms that allow visitors to meet their favorite authors.

The business zone returns this year in a renewed format with the participation of more than 30 entities, reaffirming its role in empowering the publishing industry, promoting authors' rights, and expanding local and international partnerships.

During a tour of the fair, Saudi Press Agency recorded the impressions of several visitors and participants. Saudi reader Ahmed Al-Otaibi described the fair as an annual destination he eagerly awaits to acquire the latest releases, calling it 'a window open to the world's cultures.'
