Riyadh: Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer of the world's most ambitious regenerative tourism destinations, announced the release of its Destination Resilience Report, which provides a comprehensive framework integrating crisis management, business continuity, and risk governance across its operations, ensuring the delivery of safe and sustainable tourism experiences. According to Saudi Press Agency, the report outlines strategies for addressing potential risks such as natural disasters, climate change, vulnerabilities in critical infrastructure, and supply chain disruptions. It emphasizes RSG's commitment to placing the safety of its guests, the communities of the Red Sea region, and the surrounding ecosystems at the forefront of its priorities, while guaranteeing long-term operational continuity. Head of Governance at Red Sea Global Dr. Mariam Fekteshlu said resilience is a cornerstone of RSG's vision and operating approach, empowering it to anticipate challenges, prepare for them, and adapt effectively. Since its inception, the company has embraced the concept of sustainable tourism, driven by a deep commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and economic prosperity. RSG has been recognized by global institutions such as the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) and the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) for its pioneering approach to embedding resilience across its operations. The report highlights mechanisms that ensure business continuity and the ability of critical facilities and systems to withstand challenges through alternative strategies and effective recovery plans. Supporting these efforts is an integrated infrastructure that includes onsite reserves such as water storage facilities, solar battery systems capable of delivering full operational power for two days, and emergency energy coverage for up to 15 days. The report also underscores RSG's commitment to economic and social resilience. By aligning its efforts with Saudi Vision 2030, the company invests in skills development, entreprene urship, and community programs that contribute to diversifying the local economy and strengthening its ability to withstand global shocks. Through the Red Sea Sustainability Academy, local communities are trained in fields such as sustainable agriculture and renewable energy, while partnerships with local chambers of commerce support the growth of small businesses alongside RSG's destinations. Additional investments in community health clinics, sustainable farming initiatives, food security projects, community engagement programs, and baseline socio-economic studies ensure that communities remain at the heart of every plan. Executive Director of Risk and Resilience at Red Sea Global Hani Kabbajji said this regenerative tourism model bridges luxury travel with environmental and social responsibility, positioning the company as a leader in the sector. While building a model of reliability, safety, and environmental stewardship, RSG is attracting more sustainability-conscious travelers and setting a new industr y standard where luxury converges with a lasting commitment to people and nature.
