Prophet’s Mosque Imam Visits Islamic University in Maldives

Madinah: Imam and Khatib of the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah Sheikh Salah bin Mohammed Al-Budair has visited the Islamic University of Maldives as part of the program for visits by imams of the Two Holy Mosques, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Sheikh Al-Budair met with deans and faculty members of the university. Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Ali Zahir bin Saeed Qasim praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's continuous contribution to serving Islam and Muslims, with a particular focus on supporting education in the Maldives. He highlighted that the university building was funded by King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, demonstrating the Kingdom's ongoing dedication to Islamic institutions.

Sheikh Al-Budair delivered remarks during his visit, commending the Kingdom's efforts in serving Islam and Muslims throughout its history. He emphasized that these efforts continue in the prosperous era under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He noted that the Kingdom remains committed to supporting educational and dawah institutions and championing Muslim causes worldwide.
