Riyadh: The National Water Company (NWC) has signed three memoranda of understanding (MoU) with several leading global and local companies on the sidelines of the LEAP 2025 Tech Conference, held from February 9 to 12 in Riyadh, as per a NWC press release issued today.
According to Saudi Press Agency, these MoUs aim to enhance digital infrastructure and launch advanced technologies in customer service, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing to keep up with the latest technological developments and serve the company's aspirations and ambitions.
NWC signed the first MoU with Oracle, a global leader in business applications and systems, to implement innovative solutions in digital transformation. The focus will be on customer service systems, data analytics tools, business intelligence solutions, and AI applications.
Additionally, another MoU was signed with Cisco, a leader in network infrastructure and communications, to enhance telecommunications infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions, along with developing digital systems for network monitoring and communication tools, with preparations for the future application of AI solutions.
Lastly, NWC signed the third MoU with Salam, a leading local telecommunications company, to support digital transformation by providing advanced internet and communication services. These services will contribute to improving digital performance and enhancing customer services.
The release highlighted that these agreements mark a significant step in the NWC's efforts toward digital transformation, strengthening its ability to provide high-quality, efficient services using the latest global technologies.
