Astana: Muslim World League (MWL) Secretary-General and Organization of Muslim Scholars Chairman Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa participated as a guest of honor at the eighth Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held in Kazakhstan. In his address, Al-Issa spoke about the troubling global transformations that have exacerbated tragedies and challenges, undermined the global system, and threatened the coherence of its legitimacy.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Issa emphasized the profound spiritual influence of religious leaders, underscoring the urgent need for faith-based entities to play an active role in building peace and fostering global awareness that conflicts and clashes only breed suffering that spares no one.
Al-Issa highlighted the situation in Gaza in his address, stressing that the ongoing genocide and systematic criminal starvation constitute a shameful stain on the conscience of the international community.
