Moderate to Heavy Rain Expected to Cause Flash Floods in Jazan and Aseer

Jazan: Moderate to heavy rain, which may lead to flash floods and be accompanied by hail and dust-stirring winds, is anticipated in the Jazan and Aseer regions. Light to moderate rain is expected in Al-Baha and Makkah regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, fog formation is possible in these areas, as well as in the Eastern, Al-Jouf, and Tabuk regions. The weather conditions are expected to impact visibility and travel in these areas.

Winds over the Red Sea will vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds blowing at speeds of 20-50 km/h in the northern and central parts, while the southern part will experience northwesterly to westerly winds at speeds of 10-50 km/h. Waves in this area will range from half a meter to over two meters, causing the sea to be calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to westerly winds will blow at speeds of 10-28 km/h. The waves in this region are expected to be between half a meter and one meter, with the sea remaining calm.
