Osaka: The Ministry of Sport concluded its participation in Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, which runs from April 13 to October 13.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry's program began with a visual presentation titled 'Saudi Unlimited: The Story of Sports as a Catalyst for Change,' held in the Expo's main hall. The presentation highlighted the role of Saudi Vision 2030 in charting a roadmap for the Kingdom's sports sector and the impact of hosting major international sporting events.
The panel also focused on development plans for Saudi sports, with an emphasis on supporting top athletes, highlighting success stories of Saudi competitors gaining international recognition across various disciplines, and showcasing progress in women's sports through the empowerment of Saudi female athletes.
The presentation further underlined the role of sport as a bridge for human connection between nations, extending an invitation to the Japanese people and the international community to visit the Kingdom, a premier destination for sporting events. Visitors were encouraged to enjoy these events amid Saudi hospitality.
