Vatican City: Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Envoy Adel Al-Jubeir led the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation at the funeral of Pope Francis in Vatican City.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the event, Minister Al-Jubeir conveyed the condolences and sympathy of the Kingdom's leadership to Cardinal Secretary of State and Prime Minister of the Vatican City State Pietro Parolin. He also extended condolences to the College of Cardinals and the global Catholic community.
Also present at the funeral was Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Italy, Prince Faisal bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz.
