Minister of Investment Leads High-Level Delegation to Morocco

Rabat: Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih led a high-level delegation, including representatives from the public and private sectors, on an official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco. During the visit, he met with several Moroccan government ministers and a group of business and financial leaders to strengthen investment relations and address challenges facing investors in both countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the visit comes within the framework of deepening economic ties and expanding cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Morocco, while exploring promising opportunities in priority sectors such as renewable energy, industry, tourism, agriculture, transportation, and infrastructure. The move reflects the aspirations of the leaderships and peoples of the two countries, reinforcing their longstanding relations and enhancing economic presence.

The agenda includes the signing of an agreement to protect and promote mutual investment, a strategic step aimed at building investor confidence, facilitating the flow of qualitative investments, and ensuring protection within a safe and stable environment.

Saudi and Moroccan companies have already made tangible progress in cooperation and partnership, with both countries seeking to boost joint investments, double bilateral trade, and further expand growth opportunities.
