Madinah Dates Season Exhibition Showcases Local Agriculture and Investment Opportunities

Madinah: Governor of Madinah Region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz visited the Madinah Dates Season exhibition, which is being held near the Quba Mosque. The event showcases local agricultural produce and industries related to the date palm sector, highlighting its role in the Kingdom's food security. According to Saudi Press Agency, the exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in collaboration with the National Centre for Palms and Dates, and the Madinah Chamber of Commerce. Prince Salman toured various sections of the exhibition, which features over 50 sales outlets, areas for tasting and cooking demonstrations, local handicrafts, and interactive experiences designed to engage visitors. The exhibition plays a crucial role in promoting the region's 5.6 million date palms and their contributions to the economy. It aims to bring together public and private entities to foster initiatives in the agricultural sector, present financing and logistics services to inves tors, and encourage increased production and investment in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The event is part of the broader dates season activities focused on strengthening the sector and enhancing its contribution to the local economy.
