Riyadh: In a significant step toward promoting a culture of reading and raising cultural awareness, the Libraries Commission, under the Ministry of Culture, has launched the Digital Library during the LEAP 2025 conference as a national project. The initiative was inaugurated by Vice Minister of Culture Hamed bin Mohammed Fayez.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative aligns with the Libraries Commission's vision to foster reading as a national social value, contributing to the development of a knowledgeable generation capable of creativity and participation in shaping the Kingdom's future.
During the inaugural ceremony, the vice minister emphasized the importance of education and its role in developing individuals' skills across various interests. He highlighted the ministry's commitment to innovating solutions that save time and effort, paving the way for them to actively contribute to Saudi Arabia's cultural growth.
The Libraries Commission invites all members of society to explore the Digital Library and take advantage of its features, which offer a modern and accessible reading experience-supporting culture, knowledge, and innovation across the Kingdom.
