Government sectors and assisting agencies in Madinah have successfully completed their operational plans for the pre-Hajj season; they received over 833,000 pilgrims who arrived via air of overland, provided services like housing and transportation, exerted organizational, health, security and guidance efforts to assist the pilgrims during their stay in Madinah, and followed up on their tafweej (group dispatch) to Makkah.
The Saudi Press Agency, present at the Dhul Hulaifah Miqat Mosque in Madinah, witnessed the dispatch of the last group of pilgrims to Makkah to perform Tawaf; they will first spend Yawm Al-Tarwiyah (the Day of Quenching Thirst) at Mina, all the while praying to God to facilitate their Hajj and accept their good deeds.
