KSrelief Masam Project Clears 1,103 Explosives in Yemen in Second Week of September

Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Masam Project removed 1,103 explosives across various regions of Yemen during the second week of September. The cleared explosives included four anti-personnel mines, 51 anti-tank mines, 1,047 unexploded ordnances, and 1 improvised explosive device.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these efforts bring the total number of explosives cleared since the start of the Masam Project to 514,193. These explosives were randomly planted throughout Yemeni territory, endangering innocent civilians, including children, women, and older people, and sowing fear in once-safe communities.

Saudi Arabia, through the KSrelief, continues its mission to rid the Yemeni land of explosives as part of its broader effort to protect civilians and enable the Yemeni people to live safely and with dignity.
