Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched the third phase of the Food Security Support Project in Port Sudan, Republic of Sudan, in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Ali bin Hassan Jafar. The project aims to distribute 30,000 food baskets to displaced persons as part of the voluntary return program for returnees to their homes in the states of Al-Jazirah, Khartoum, Red Sea, Sennar, and White Nile.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative is part of the humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to support countries in need and ensure their food security.
