KSrelief Completes Medical Project for Cardiac Surgeries in Aden, Yemen

Aden: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded a volunteer medical project focused on open-heart surgery and catheterization in Aden Governorate. This initiative was undertaken in cooperation with the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project, which ran from March 11 to 18, involved the participation of 12 volunteers who successfully performed 65 cardiac catheterization procedures, 25 open-heart surgeries, and six transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) procedures.

The project is part of the ongoing volunteer medical initiatives led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aiming to provide assistance to those in need across the globe.
