Monrovia: The Kingdom, represented by a delegation from the Transport General Authority and the Ministry of Economy and Planning, concluded its participation in the 8th Annual Conference of the Association of African Maritime Administrations (AAMA), hosted by Liberia. The event witnessed broad participation from countries and international organizations concerned with the maritime sector.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority's participation in this continental event aimed to strengthen international relations in the field of maritime transport. The delegation focused on exchanging expertise and experiences with member states and exploring opportunities for cooperation in maritime security and safety. Additionally, they sought to develop systems that support the sustainability of this vital sector.
The Kingdom's presence at the conference also underscored the role of Saudi Arabia's maritime transport sector. It reaffirmed its commitment to supporting global initiatives focused on protecting the marine environment, reducing carbon emissions, and enhancing maritime transport systems and logistics services.
