Riyadh: At the Riyadh International Book Fair 2025, the King Fahad National Library is showcasing its efforts through a dedicated pavilion of its comprehensive work in the deposition, cataloging, and restoration of a wide range of materials, including both manuscripts and printed works.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the library offers vital services to government agencies, Saudi authors, and publishing houses across the Kingdom through this pavilion. Visitors can explore various sections featuring manuscripts, a national archive of historical photographs, and coin collections.
A standout feature is the live demonstration of restoration techniques, showcasing tools such as specialized solutions, sterilization equipment, and conservation-grade paper used in preserving manuscripts and documents.
Additionally, the pavilion displays a treasured selection from the library's holdings, including rare manuscripts, ancient Islamic dinars, printed books, and scientific journals.
