King Abdulaziz Complex for the Holy Kaabah Kiswah has almost finished manufacturing the Kaabah cloth cover (Kiswah) for the coming Hijri year 1445.
The complex, which belongs to the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, has manufactured Kiswah by the operational plans.
The complex is gearing up to complete the manufacturing process to ensure that Kiswah is produced as scheduled and installed on the holy Kaabah on the eve of Muharram, the first month of the Hijri calendar.
Sultan Al-Qurashi, the Assistant to the President General for the Affairs of King Abdulaziz Complex for the Holy Kaabah Kiswah exhibitions, engineering, technical, and operational affairs, affirmed the importance and support that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince attach to the Kaabah, the Two Holy Mosques, and their visitors.
Amjad bin Ayed Al-Hazmi, the Under-Secretary-General of King Abdulaziz Complex for the Holy Kaabah Kiswah, said the Kiswah was sewn by the complex to the highest standards and specifications.
He further said that this effort is in line with the keenness of the Kingdom and its leadership to honor the holy Kaabah and is a result of a full year of hard work and attention to details.
