KFCRIS and UN Alliance of Civilizations Chair Explore Collaborative Opportunities

Riyadh: Secretary-General of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS), Princess Maha bint Mohammed bin Faisal, welcomed Dr. Abdelhak Azzouzi, President of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations Chair at the Euro-Mediterranean University, in Fez, Morocco. Their meeting focused on potential cooperation between KFCRIS and the university, especially in the fields of civilizational and intellectual studies, as well as fostering cultural dialogue among nations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions between Princess Maha and Dr. Azzouzi also included exploring opportunities to establish research and academic partnerships aimed at enhancing intellectual and human heritage. The dialogue underscored the commitment of both institutions to advance shared objectives in cultural and educational domains.

Following the meeting, Dr. Azzouzi had the opportunity to visit the library and manuscripts department at KFCRIS. He was briefed on the center's initiatives to preserve cultural heritage and promote the dissemination of knowledge. In addition to examining the library's resources, Dr. Azzouzi was introduced to various research programs and cultural projects that align with the scientific and intellectual objectives of KFCRIS.
