Jeddah: Secretary-General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy Prof. Koutoub Mustapha Sano has expressed condolences on behalf of the academy's leadership, members, and staff to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister; the Saudi people and the Islamic nation on the passing of Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh, who served as head of the Council of Senior Scholars, the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta, and the Supreme Council of the Muslim World League.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Prof. Sano praised Sheikh Abdulaziz for his lifelong dedication to knowledge, fatwas, and the promotion of Sharia, monotheism, and moderation, following principles grounded in the Quran and Sunnah.
