New york: The International Center for Artificial Intelligence Research and Ethics (ICAIRE), under the auspices of UNESCO, organized a high-level event during the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. The event was held in partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), and the Republic of Kenya, with support from the UN Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies (ODET).
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event was attended by SDAIA Vice President Sami bin Abdullah Moquim, senior officials in technology and AI, and representatives from tech companies from various countries. The discussions centered around identifying the most effective approaches to building capacities in AI as a critical driver of sustainable development and comprehensive advancement for all nations.
