Hail Municipality Develops Promenade Along Historic Wadi Al-Adayra

Hail: Hail Region Municipality has completed the development of a scenic promenade along the banks of the prominent Wadi Al-Adayra, a significant 130-kilometer-long natural and historical landmark in the region. The project aims to enhance the urban landscape and quality of life, featuring 2,780 meters of main walking tracks, 7,500 meters of sidewalks, and 11,720 square meters of green spaces, achieved by planting 350 trees and shrubs. Wadi Al-Adayra, which serves as a vital floodwater drainage channel, flows through Hail and several neighboring villages.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project was designed to improve the aesthetic and functional aspects of the area. The initiative is expected to offer residents and visitors a new space for leisure and recreation while preserving the natural environment of the historic wadi.

The development of the promenade is part of broader efforts by the Hail Region Municipality to invest in public infrastructure that promotes outdoor activities and community engagement. The newly established walking tracks and green spaces aim to provide a refreshing retreat for visitors and locals alike.
