Gusty Winds and Heavy Rain Expected in Various Saudi Regions

Jeddah: Weather conditions across several regions in Saudi Arabia are expected to be turbulent on Friday, with gusty winds, moderate to heavy rain, and potential hail, particularly in the areas of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah. Fog formation is also anticipated over parts of the highlands in these regions, as well as in the southern parts of the Eastern Region and the coastal areas of the Madinah Region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, dust-stirring winds are forecasted for parts of Riyadh, Madinah, Qassim, Hail, and Makkah regions. Over the Red Sea, winds will be northwesterly to northerly, ranging from 15-50 km/h, with waves anticipated to vary from half a meter to over two meters, resulting in conditions described as calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly at speeds of 15-30 km/h, with wave heights expected to reach one to one and a half meters, leading to relatively calm sea conditions.
