General Authority for Affairs of Two Holy Mosques Enhances Services for Women During Ramadan

Mecca: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has designated special prayer rooms for women in the Grand Mosque during Ramadan, ensuring a comfortable and well-equipped space for worship.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority has provided integrated services inside these prayer rooms, including healthcare support with emergency teams on standby, a lost and found service for quick item retrieval, and Quran memorization and recitation correction sessions. Additionally, daily iftar meals are distributed to fasting women, and translated copies of the Quran are made available.

Guidance and counseling services on religious matters and performing rituals are also offered, alongside organized entry and exit procedures within the prayer areas and corridors. Special prayer rooms have been equipped for people with disabilities, featuring wheelchair-accessible pathways to ensure ease of movement.
