Kuwait city: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Tanja Fajon. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 29th GCC-EU Joint Council and Ministerial Meeting. According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting covered several topics, focusing on Gulf-Slovenian and Gulf-European relations and exploring ways to strengthen and advance these connections in support of shared objectives. Both parties highlighted the significance of the GCC-EU Ministerial Meeting as an opportunity to discuss global changes and developments and to enhance their relations while exchanging views on the latest regional developments. The GCC Secretary General acknowledged Slovenia's recognition of the State of Palestine and its efforts at the United Nations Security Council. He noted these actions as a reflection of Slovenia's commitment to promoting security and stability both regionally and gl obally.
