Forecast Predicts Varied Rainfall and Wind Conditions Across Saudi Regions

Jeddah: In the latest weather update, the National Center for Meteorology has predicted a range of weather conditions for various regions in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. Gusty winds are expected to sweep through the Jazan and Madinah regions, potentially accompanied by moderate rain and hail.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions may experience heavy rain, while light rain is forecasted for Riyadh, Qassim, and Hail regions. Dust-stirring winds are likely to affect the Eastern and Najran regions.

In addition, wind speeds over the Red Sea are anticipated to vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds blowing at speeds of 20-50 km/h in the northern and central parts. In the southern part, winds will shift from northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds of 12-50 km/h. Wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to over two meters, causing the sea conditions to vary from calm to choppy.

For the Arabian Gulf, the forecast indicates northwesterly to westerly winds at speeds of 25-55 km/h, with waves reaching heights of one to three meters, leading to calm to choppy sea conditions.
