Riyadh: The Eastern Region has been decked out in a distinctive national display to mark the Saudi 95th National Day, with streets, squares, and public spaces decorated with flags, lights, and installations that reflect a spirit of patriotism, belonging, and pride.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the municipality and its affiliated regional branches completed preparations by installing 15,241 flags and banners on light poles and masts at key intersections and vital locations, along with 914 national sculptures in public squares, and decorating 47 main municipal buildings. In addition, 7,526 meters of light strings were installed, bringing the total to more than 26,000 decorative elements across the region's cities and governorates.

Eastern Region Municipality Spokesperson Faisal Al-Zahrani said a comprehensive plan was also developed for cleaning services and health inspections during the celebrations. This includes deploying sanitation workers and equipment at sites expected to attract large crowds, intensifying oversight of food establishments, and preparing parks, public squares, and designated venues for events.
