Riyadh: The Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) is participating with six F-15C fighter jets in the joint air drill "Desert Flag 2025," held at the Air Warfare and Missile Defense Center at Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates: Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Faisal Mohammed Al-Marwani, commander of the participating Saudi air group, stated that RSAF is taking part in the "Desert Flag 2025" exercise in the brotherly United Arab Emirates with F-15C aircraft, along with full air, technical, and support crews, and with the participation of the Saudi Air Defense Forces.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Lieutenant Colonel Al-Marwani emphasized that 'Desert Flag' is a complex exercise simulating modern threats. He noted that it aims to exchange military expertise in planning and execution within an environment similar to real warfare, as well as to strengthen relations between participating countries.
He added that the exercise features various training operations, most notably defensive and offensive counter-air operations, close air support missions, and combat search and rescue operations.
