Deputy Environment Minister Launches AI-Powered Animal Health Platform at LEAP25

Riyadh: Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti launched the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Animal Health Platform, enabling the ministry to monitor the spread of animal diseases through detailed temporal and geographical data visualization, providing real-time insights and forecasts.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative aligns with the ministry's efforts to leverage modern technologies to achieve sustainability in the agriculture and livestock sector.

The launch took place during the ministry's participation in the LEAP25 conference in Riyadh, organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, Tahaluf Company, and the Events Investment Fund from February 9 to 12.

The ministry stated that the platform is an innovative system that uses AI to analyze veterinary data, track visits, infections, and fatalities, and predict animal disease cases through veterinary clinics. It aims to support decision-makers by improving veterinary care, raising health awareness, reducing infections and fatalities, and enhancing overall veterinary efficiency.
