Riyadh: The General Directorate of Civil Defense emphasized today the importance of equipping homes with essential safety tools to respond effectively to accidents. It noted that the availability of smoke detectors, gas leak detectors, fire extinguishers, and fire blankets can save critical time in containing fires, thereby protecting lives and property.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the directorate urged the public to follow safety guidelines and instructions announced through official media outlets and social media platforms. Additionally, it advised residents to call (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern, and (998) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions, to request assistance in emergency situations.
