Jeddah: A delegation from Chang'an University in China visited the Faculty of Earth Sciences at King Abdulaziz University to discuss academic and scientific cooperation. According to Saudi Press Agency, the delegation from Chang'an University, located in China, engaged in detailed discussions on Tuesday with their counterparts at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. The focus of the talks was on enhancing collaboration in scientific research, particularly in the fields of geology and mining engineering. Both institutions expressed interest in developing mechanisms to amplify their joint research efforts, implement robust student training programs, and facilitate the exchange of scientific expertise. During their visit, the Chinese delegation was given a tour of the college's facilities, including the technical laboratories of the Mining Engineering Department. They were briefed on the advanced scientific equipment and the educational capabilities that the university harnesses to foster a rich learning and r esearch environment.
